    Inscription form

Please describe yourself and your research fields in a few words. This information will be published in our newsletter.

    1) Individual membership

Any adult person who is interested in communication and media research and has a connection to Switzerland can become an individual member.

    (2) Students

To be a student member, you must be enrolled at a university or a university of applied sciences for the purpose of obtaining a licentiate/diploma/BA/MA degree. Doctoral students are also included in this category if they are not employed at one of the institutes listed under (3).

    (3) Institute membership

Units of universities or universities of applied sciences can join the SACM as members. With a basic fee, currently of 250 francs (since 2008), the unit enables its mid-level staff to become members for 80 francs (instead of 130); for professors, the contribution is reduced from 130 to 120 francs. Institutions wishing to apply for such membership are requested to contact the SACM management directly.

    Collective membership

Swiss legal entities or public institutions that support the purposes of the association may join the SACM as collective members. Collective members require three people who are designated to exercise the rights and duties as members. The annual membership fee is 500 Swiss francs (a reduction based on company size is possible). Parties  interested in a collective membership are requested to contact the SACM management directly.
