SACM - Swiss Association of Communication and Media Research
As a multilingual organisation in the heart of Europe, the SACM pursues the aim to build bridges between professional associations and different scientific traditions in the neighboring countries and to increase the visibility of findings in communication and media research over linguistic and national boundaries. Regular meetings and common events are organized with partner associations in France (SFSIC), Germany (DGPuK), and Austria (ÖGK). SACM members may register for annual conferences organized by the associations from the neighboring countries at the reduced fee for members (the same reduction is granted for members of partner organizations at SACM annual conferences).
