SACM - Swiss Association of Communication and Media Research
SACM represents communication and media research in Switzerland. Its members are primarily concerned with communication and media – they may be scientists, professors at universities, universities of applied sciences and in further education or experts in the area of media and media research, in related associations or authorities and administrations.
SACM Awards 2026 presented
At the 51st General Assembly of the SACM on 23 April 2026 in Winterthur, three awards were presented
The next annual conference will be held at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur, on 22-24 April 2026. Conference topic is as follows:
Enabling transformation and participation: Empowerment for and through communication and media.
The call for applications for the new SACM Dissertation Prize is now available. We will award the best thesis in communication and media research completed at a Swiss university (or by a Swiss researcher working abroad) in 2025. Closing date for applications is 30 December 2025.
